Davy Jones and Tia Dalma from Pirates of the Caribbean. 3 of 7 pirate portraits I am working on.
Done with an array of pencils and lots of Mountain Dew. (No, Chim, I am not addicted.  ) Comments  Fabulous! I don't know what to critique but seeing as I know you love it I'll try and think up something. [long pause] Ok, here goes my critique. *ahem* I love the way you did the border around him, fading to white after his tentacles, it's a little uneven on her side seeing as she doesn't have tentacles and all but, it's all I could come up with.  -- "The world's about to be destroyed, there's no point getting all annoyed. It says advanced critique encouraged, but I honestly can't really think of anything. Davy looks just the way he should - the likeness is very good. Tia Dalma looks very good too especially the hair -- her face is maybe a bit too long and features too sharp, but otherwise she looks very pretty!   wow! Beautifully done! Its realistic but sorta stylized(sp?) I love it!
I'm not good with critique =x umm.. I can't really think of anything good to say *blush* but I couldn't not comment... this is gorgous x3  First time I see Davy and Tia Dalma drawn together. Looks awesome
